Sale season is just around the corner, but breeding season isn’t even halfway through yet. Please call Doug Arnold or Beth Kinnane for multiple mare discounts for seasons to Buck Pond stallions. You can breed 2 mares to our young stallion TEN CENTURIES for the price of one. We do a lot of work with regional breeders as well, so we look forward to hearing from you. We can also board your mares during the foaling/breeding season.
The entry deadline for the Keeneland September yearling sale is May 1, 2008. Contact us to prep and consign your yearlings to the upcoming Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July, Keeneland September, and Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October sales. Buck Pond can also take care of early breaking and training for any of your horses needing to get ready for the racetrack. Along with the Seattle Fitz (Arg) – Whiskey Baby colt that sold at Barretts for $600,000, Buck Pond put the early training into Seekingthediamond, a 2-year-old Forest Wildcat-Seeking Success filly who worked the fastest 1/8 so far for the upcoming OBS March Sale of Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training. As Hip No. 65, the filly worked in 9 4/5 and will sell March 18th in the Hendry Training Stables consignment. The 2007 Lone Star Oaks and Remington Park Oaks winner ALICE BELLE got her start at Buck Pond as well.
We also have mares and track-ready 2yos available for sale, so don’t be afraid to call, we’d be happy to send you a pedigree.
