Only one of his yearlings was entered at the Fasig-Tipton July Yearling Sale, but the first summer sale foal by Crafty Shaw got his sire off to a great start. Hip #101 had lots of lookers and lots of competition to buy him, bringing the hammer down at $62,000 to Dale Romans, agent. The final bid was more than 12 times Crafty Shaw's $5,000 stud fee. The striking chestnut colt out of the mare Sparkling Glitter is very typical of the robust, good boned, correct foals his sire is throwing. Congratulations to his new owners.
